How to Plan Ur Facilities...


a) Determine facility needs
- not only playing facilities but locker room, restrooms,
spectator seating, traffic flow & food service.
- plan for bad weather
- expect spectators
(ticket, restroom facilities, disorder people & plan for emergency)

b)Reserve the facility
- seek permission to use
- get an agreement in writing
- what part of the facility are included
- who will be responsible for supervising & maintaining

c)Determine who will supervise the facility
- assign & properly train a supervisor if you responsible for the facility.
- if you rent the facility, the agency will provide a certain level of
supervision or pass that responsibility to you

D) Arrange for access to the facility
- coordinate with supervisor if you renting the facility.
- make sure you have all keys
(building, gates, equipment storage ideas, etc)

e) Prepare the facility
- clean the facility & schedule for cleaning
- modify the facility
- eliminate any hazards
- prepare the playing area
- prepare the spectator area
- make arrangements for the officials area
- prepare the sound & lighting system
- prepare restroom for spectators, participant
- has adequate water supplies

F) Arrange the maintenance of the facility
- determine who will be responsible for maintenance
- develop & use a facility inspection schedule indoor & outdoor
(should be inspected before & after the contest.
- develop checklist specific for facility
- decide the maintenance schedule for the playing area during
& after the event.
- establish the maintenance schedule for other such as locker room,
toilets, spectators area etc

G) Arrange for security for all facilities
- make sure that someone is assigned to securing all parts of the facility

H) Arrange for adequate parking if needed
- determine how much parking is needed
- for large events, consider requesting traffic police
